Check out our UFC 203 live coverage.

The time has come for CM Punk to step into the cage. Many thought he’d never fight and after he was hurt twice in training, I started to think that way too. But unless something happens on the way to the octagon, he’s going to get inside the cage for real.

We’ll be back with live coverage.

Jessica Andrade Vs Joanne Calderwood

Andrade took an elbow to the left eye and it’s already busted open. She might need to finish soon. She got a takedown and is trying to pass the half guard. Even though she can’t get to mount, she’s pounding Calderwood. Andrade found an opportunity, went for a guillotine and fell to her back. Calderwood was in it for a little while, but had to tap.

Winner: Jessica Andrade by way of 1st round submission

Jimmie Rivera Vs Urijah Faber

Rivera came out as a counter puncher, which was odd because he’s the one with the better hands. Faber was in and out, trying to get him to react. Neither really landed a great shot. Faber landed a push kick early and Rivera landed a shot or two when Faber got inside. I guess you’d have to give it to him.

Rivera landed a few nasty leg kicks, one that dropped Faber who was moving. He also buckled his front leg with another. Faber isn’t able to do much really. He hasn’t used his wrestling and he’s not going to win a standup fight. Later in the round, Rivera treated his legs with kicks like Jose Aldo once did.

At this point, you start to wonder if Faber is hurt. He’s still not trying any wrestling. He did poke Rivera right in the eye with an open hand. Rivera isn’t doing anything special in this round, but he’s consistently landing counter shots. Faber landed a few of his own, but not nearly enough to win the round.

Winner: Jimmie Rivera by way of unanimous decision

The scores were 30-27 on all cards.

Mickey Gall Vs CM Punk

Gall came out to Hey Mickey by Toni Basil and Punk came out to Cult Of Personality.

Gall bum rushed him, got the takedown and pounded him on the ground. Punk was able to turn his back and protect himself a bit. Gall is trying to pound him and then open him up for the choke. He continued to do so until Punk couldn’t defend the choke anymore. He finished him off.

Winner: Mickey Gall by way of 1st round submission

Gall called out Sage Northcutt and Punk cut a promo about getting up and doing the things in life you want to do.

Travis Browne Vs Fabricio Werdum

Werdum flew in with a kick. He looks like hell bodywise. Werdum also threw a Jushin Liger kick. Werdum also landed a couple punches. Browne dislocated his finger and called a timeout and the referee gave it to him. I think he popped the finger back in and the referee and doctor let the fight continue. Browne doesn’t have anything on his right hand, but still landed it. Werdum threw a reverse kick. Werdum landed a right hand and Browne went down. Werdum got his back, but couldn’t finish the choke before the round ended.

Browne can’t throw a right hand so his striking is very predictable. Werdum is playing it safe, outside of throwing his wacky kicks. It was a weird round and it looked like both guys were in quicksand.

That third round might go down as one of the worst you’ll see. Neither guy did anything. Browne looked like hell. Werdum looked like hell. Let’s just be glad it’s over.

Winner: Fabricio Werdum

The scores were 29-28, 29-27, and 30-27.

Before the scorecard was read, Browne’s trainer, Edmond walked toward Werdum. Werdum threw a soft kick at Edmond. Hell nearly broke loose, but it didn’t.

Alistair Overeem Vs Stipe Miocic

Reem is literally running away to get away from Miocic’s pressure. Miocic threw a kick at him when he was running away and ran right into a big punch and he went down. Reem went for a guillotine, but didn’t get it. Miocic looks buzzed, but he’s still pressuring him. Miocic landed heavy inside shots and Reem isn’t taking them well. Miocic left himself open and Reem landed a big shot and Miocic was stunned again. This is a weird fight. He took Reem down and was landing big shots from Reem’s guard. Reem’s defense was terrible and it was stopped.

Winner: Stipe Miocic by way of 1st round TKO
