Big D and Draven are back as WrestleMania 30 for 30 goes big time.

WrestleMania 22 is the next on tap for WrestleMania 30 for 30. It was a good card overall and D and Draven break it down.

Here’s some of what they discuss:

– Crazy entrances
– Creative shakeups at the time
– The Boogeyman
– Vince McMahon whose physique was quite “well”
– John Cena becomes legitimized
– Poor Rey Mysterio
– Discussion of the hall of famers
– The original card

  1. That Rey Mysterio title chase was a bad idea. They would have been better off with Randy winning the Rumble and facing Angle. Then they could have a Rey vs Chavo in a babyface vs babyface match dedicated to Eddie’s memory. I love the Mickie vs Trish feud. That storyline got me watching WWE tv again after a little time off. There hasn’t been a female on WWE tv since as compelling and charismatic as psycho heel Mickie James.

  2. Mickie was such a fun character early on. Then they watered her down.

As for the Mysterio deal, I loved that he won the title. But Court Bauer has stated in the past that every time they wanted to do something with his run, Vince would force them to book it like a joke to prove his point about big guys needing to be champs.
