This episode focuses on all three fights of Stage 1 of the Super Six World Boxing Classic.
The show starts with Lou DiBella talking about Jermain Taylor’s scary concussion in his fight against Arthur Abraham as a teaser to open Episode 3. It leads into the morning of the fight with DiBella telling JT’s wife that he hasn’t seen him as skinny in a long time.
Gary Shaw tells Andre Dirrell to let Carl Froch come to him and he doesn’t have to worry about the knockout.
Taylor/Abraham
Arthur Abraham is portrayed like a rock star and if you remember the entrance for his fight with JT, that’s exactly who he was.
They showed the fight from the perspective of Taylor’s wife and mother and it was heartbreaking. His mother walked out when Abraham buckled him earlier in the fight, but his wife made his mother come back and watch. And then in the last round when Taylor went down hard, both his wife and mother agreed that they have their whole lives left and there’s nothing left to prove. I think that was the sentiment that we all had for Jermain. He’s had a really good career.
Dirrell/Froch

This episode of Fight Camp 360 focuses on the Andre Ward vs. Mikkel Kessler fight that is set to happen on Saturday, November 21 in Oakland, California.
The show opens with Gary Shaw upset because Carl Froch’s group is late for a press conference with his fighter, Andre Dirrell. Shaw tells Dirrell that on Thursday, he wins the press conference, Friday he wins the weigh-in, and Saturday he wins the fight. I’m not sure if he won the first two, but unfortunately for Dirrell, he lost the third one. I’m not sure he won the press conference either. He was acting like a fool. Though, he did put on a really good performance that could’ve gone either way.
They show how they put together Arthur Abraham’s entrance from his fight with Jermaine Taylor. I think I saw similar theatrics with Michael Jackson’s concert that never happened.
Mikkel Kessler’s shown with his family. His sister said that she never thought he’d stick with boxing because he was such a wussy. Kessler says that the hard training originally attracted him to boxing.
The next scene was with Carl Froch’s girlfriend. This, I approve.
Arthur Abraham didn’t want to talk about which shot he was going to beat Taylor with, while Taylor says his goal was to win the tournament and be back on top.

This is Showtime’s attempt to market Fedor Emelianenko and his fight with Brett Rogers in the same way that HBO markets their big fights with 24/7 or that UFC does it with Countdown or Primetime. How are they going to do it with their main star who doesn’t speak much English? Let’s see.
The show starts with Fedor training in a small gym in Russia where children also train, as to show that he’s not above training with the common folk. His striking coach says they don’t change their training style often, only maybe to tweak it based on the opponent.
Against most of his opponents, Fedor doesn’t look that big. But sparring with his partners, he looks like a huge monster.
In a sense, the training almost makes it look like the Fedor camp is taking Rogers lightly as they are shown laughing after Fedor throws around his partner.
The Rogers camp says that they have to look at Fedor as a man because that makes him beatable. He also says that Rogers does work on the ground as well, but he wasn’t very convincing.
Brett’s wife’s name is Tiuna and I’m not exactly sure how to pronounce that. They show him getting his mohawk tightened and talking about his upbringing. What’s up with hype shows and guys in the barbershop?

This is a recap to Showtime’s preview show for their Super Six World Boxing Classic, which starts next weekend.
They show ESPN writer Dan Rafael recapping when Ken Hirshman went to Germany to sort out the Super Six. Hirshman said that someone faxed the documentation to Rafael in an act of “ultimate betrayal” and could’ve hurt the possibilities of the tournament.
Carl Froch is putting his title on the line in the tournament. And he also has a super hot girlfriend.
They show the Froch/Jermain Taylor fight where Froch was knocked down for the first time. Froch wishes Andre Dirrell luck for coming to his home town to fight him.
He thinks they could put him and Mikkel Kessler in the ring inside a soccer stadium and sell it out.
Poor Gary Shaw expands a t-shirt nearly beyond its cotton fibers.
Boxing is in Dirrell’s blood as his grandfather and uncle were boxers.
