Duan sent this one over to me earlier today. I rarely watch Friday Night Fights, but thanks to YouTube all is never lost.
It was a light heavyweight match-up between guys ranked post top 10. Thomas Williams, Jr. is a young pro while Cornelius White is in his early 30s and was recently knocked out by Sergey Kovalev. The fight is just one round of pure one-shot connections. It features three knockdowns (one coming out of nowhere).
Batista returns! It’s been promoted for weeks and finally, on Monday night, Batista was back in WWE. He looked smaller (at least to me) than previously, but then again, I think when he left, he was a little smaller than his peak years. He was wearing tight/skinny jeans that made his legs look thin.
Randy Orton was in the ring after confronting Triple H and Stephanie who seem to be the two most confusing characters on Raw. They left him after a backhanded pep talk and Batista came in. He said that he’s back for one reason and it’s to be champion.

On Wednesday night, the heavily advertised WWE “Ground Breaking” announcement centered on their new online offering, the WWE Network. The network was originally heavily rumored to be a cable network that would be part of a cable tier much like HBO or Showtime. In order to entice subscribers, all PPVs except WrestleMania would be free on the network.
Since then, the rumor changed to an all-access online network with an vault of historical content and original programming such as Legends House. PPVs were also part of the deal, but it was rumored that WrestleMania 30 would be free as well with a six month commitment. It seemed like a steal.

First up is boxing, which had a really good year when it came to building up new fighters, showcasing their best, and creating interesting fights for 2014. The 2014 Breakthrough Star is all about who we think makes that big jump in 2014.
