Watch All Access: Mayweather Vs McGregor – Episode 1.
For those hardcores who watched, or at least paid attention to, the four city press conference tour, you’re not going to learn anything in episode one of All Access. You see a recap of all four pressers, and the way it was edited, it’s much more entertaining on All Access. They cut out most of Floyd’s yeahs, Conor’s dumb usage of the word boy, and Floyd’s idiotic usage of a homosexual slur.
What they also cut out was the stalling and using the same lines over and over again. It was tight.
McGregor is going to shine in this type of environment. He has much better soundbites than Mayweather does. He’s better prepared and it’s more his type of style. Floyd looks unprepared and slightly uncaring. I hope he steps his game up in the later episodes.
McGregor’s story is that Mayweather is too slow, isn’t strong enough, and has brittle hands. Floyd’s story is similar. He’s not as good as he used to be, but he’s still good enough to beat McGregor.
The best part of the episode is when Floyd’s father goes back and forth with McGregor. McGregor pretends he’s really Floyd, but just aged before our eyes. Big Floyd says that his son hasn’t lost, and McGregor’s lost three times already. In fact, I’d rather see Big Floyd and Conor go at each other promo for promo. It would be better stuff.
