It’s exactly who we thought it would be, and it’s exactly who is should’ve been. It’s Chris Jericho.

I’m not sure all of the videos building up his return necessarily made sense, but maybe that was the point. Whoever “she” is will hopefully be unveiled and hopefully it won’t be Stephanie McMahon.

It’s not clear what his character is going to be, but I do have my guesses. I think Jericho’s new character is going to be a super obnoxious wannabe babyface who can’t understand why the crowd doesn’t cheer him. I think he’s going to play up the rockstar aspect of his life, as evidenced by the horrendous jacket he wore. He’s really the anti of CM Punk’s character which bring’s Punk’s character sort of full circle by WrestleMania if that’s what they’re going to do.

The segment was long and awkward and I’m sure many people changed the channel because it was so long. It was the worst Hulk Hogan ovation you’ve ever seen.
