Not going to be as big of a deal as the very first UFC On Fox show that’s for sure. It’s the oft-delayed Sugar Rashad Evans vs. Phil Davis fight. The second fight is rumored to be Chael Sonnen vs. Mark Munoz. Both fights offer small payoff and could endanger much bigger fights.
If Rashad Evans beats Phil Davis, he’ll face the winner of Lyoto Machida vs. Jon Jones. The biggest fight possible is the Jones/Evans fight, but even if Machida wins, a rematch with Evans is at the very least, intriguing. Davis isn’t yet capable of being a difference in a main event PPV fight, and if he upsets Evans, he’d be on the top list of contenders at light heavyweight.
But even worse is the Sonnen vs. Munoz fight. While Sonnen will more than likely be a heavy favorite, Mark Munoz can wrestle and might be the better overall striker. And the very least, he hits harder than Sonnen. If Munoz wins, he may go up the ladder a bit in the middleweight division, but he might be lesser known to casual fans than Phil Davis.
On one hand, it will give Davis and Munoz a chance to be on a big stage. They’ll never have been on a bigger stage before. So that might lessen the blow to the UFC if they do upset their competitors.
But it’s odd that the UFC, who is generally good at booking their main events, would risk two huge fights. Going from Jones vs. Evans to Jones vs. Davis is probably worth at least 500,000 buys. The underlying story here to me is that with so many new shows on Fox, FX, and Fuel, this is going to happen much more in the upcoming years. And add to it the risk of injury to so many fighters, I think they’re going to struggle to come up with watchable and smart main events for these shows.

I’m a little bummed out that we’re nearly done with the season. I believe there are just two episodes left including this one. It’s been a fantastic season. The fights have been good and the back and forth between Mayhem and Bisping has been good as well.
Dustin handed a goody bag to a homeless man on his way to the gym. Dustin fights TJ on this show.
The house had a BBQ and invited Mayhem and his coaches. Dustin was challenged to eat a cockroach for some money. And he decided to take the challenge for 60 bones. Come on Mayhem! Bring out more cash for that.
Mayhem and Bisping are playing air hockey for $10,000 in a best out of five games. Bisping takes the first game 7-1. He takes the second game 7-4. Mayhem takes the third game 7-5 before Bisping wins the entire thing by winning his third game 7-4. He jumped on top of the air hockey table with the money and then fell on his back and hit his head when he tried to get off.
Dustin Pague vs. TJ Dillashaw
Pague was on his back for much of the first round. Dillashaw is able to get off first and his short and quick punches are doing more damage than Pague’s longer strikes. Dillashaw no sold a nasty knee.
Second round was similar, but Pague was able to land shots from the bottom. Still took a bit of a beating. Dillashaw landed some shots and then immediately went for the takedown. Pague can’t get off his back.
Brutal ground fight. Dillashaw was nailing him with hammer fists. Dillashaw was setting up his takedowns with nasty body shots.
Winner: TJ Dillashaw by way of unanimous decision
Two judges scored it 30-26 and one judge scored it 30-27.
Next week are the last two fights until the finale.

On the Thanksgiving edition of FGB Radio, Jason aka @dadrrtywhyteboi and I discuss the Survivor Series headlined by the Rock and John Cena in a tag team match against the Miz and R-Truth
(We planned to also discuss UFC 139, and what a fantastic show that was, but there were issues with the recorded file that I couldn’t fix, so we cut the podcast short.)
We discuss the card up and down and talk about what we thought of the main event, how the angle worked towards building WrestleMania, and also what WWE can do for other matches at WrestleMania.
Check it out and let us know what you think.

Akira is making fun of Caraway because he likes to put gel in his hair. He grabbed some clippers and took a chunk out of his hair. Dick move! If Dana could work the finishes, Caraway would get revenge!
Mayhem was worried that Tiki was going to do something to his car so he rode his bike to the gym. Bisping drifted the hell out of his car into the parking lot. Bisping tried to keep Mayhem’s crew in the locker room by trash talking and then exploded the fire extinguisher on them and brought in some mariachis. I have no idea what this means, but these dudes are acting like it was the greatest prank ever. Mayhem loved the prank, even though it was on him.
Johnny Bedford is pissed because he’s got a fight coming up and had to breath in the chemicals.
Bisping does a drill with Akira to where he’s got to work off his back and he didn’t like it a bit. He just wants to stand and trade.
Marcus pulls a prank on Bisping with Akira and dropped a sweaty jock right in Bisping’s face. Bisping picked Akira up and slammed him and then put Marcus’ jock on his face. Akira said that he and Marcus are now brothers since he just tasted his salty balls. Not sure how that makes them brothers.
Akira is serenading Dennis Bermudez before the fight. This dude is hilarious.
Dennis Bermudez vs. Akira Corassani
Akira started out quickly by tagging him and Bermudez looked a little lost. But he got his composure back after tying him up and pushing him up against the cage. He rung Bermudez again who won’t move his head for the life of him. But he tagged Akira with a straight right as well. Akira knocked him down and Bermudez immediately went for the shot and took him down. He then put a front guillotine on him. It looked like Akira tapped about three times, but he finally tapped.
Winner: Dennis Bermudez by way of 1st round submission
Akira had no idea what happened and started going nuts for a second. No matter what happens, Akira needs to have at least one or two fights in the UFC. The guy is entertaining.
