HULK HOGAN SIGNS WITH TNA

Published by Big D under Pro Wrestling,TNA,WWE

In what could be the biggest news story in professional wrestling since the death of WCW, Hulk Hogan is preparing a huge announcement in Madison Square Garden that is scheduled to begin shortly.

Allegedly there are banners for both Spike TV and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

Yes, Hulk Hogan HAS SIGNED WITH TNA WRESTLING!

Sources say Hulk Hogan is not the only big star to sign, but the first one to be announced. TNA has acquired the biggest star in the business.

FGB Radio – Lesnar Out Of UFC 106 And UFC 104 & WWE Bragging Rights Recaps

It’s our third show in eight days and Big D and I have quite the debate about whether Shogun was robbed or whether it was just the wrong decision. We also talk WWE Bragging Rights and fantasy book how Big Dave Batista should’ve turned on Rey and how Ted DiBiase should turn on Legacy.

But before that, I talk about the breaking news that Brock Lesnar is out of UFC 106 because of an illness.

It’s another fun show.

WWE 2009 Bragging Rights – Raw Vs. Smackdown Play By Play

Published by GG under PPV,Play by Play,Pro Wrestling,WWE

It’s the inaugural WWE Bragging Rights PPV and while there have been some cold shows before, I’m not sure there’s been one this cold going in all year long. I have to figure out something else to do while watching John Cena and Randy Orton go sixty minutes. Maybe I’ll fold laundry.

They just showed a trophy that the brand winner will take home. They just said that whichever brand wins 2 out of the 3 interbrand matches wins the trophy which is a cup.

1. The Miz Vs. John Morrison

The announcers are now crediting the Miz’s new meaner character to him jobbing to John Cena.

Wow, the Miz actually won the match. It was a nice opener, but nothing to necessarily write home about. They didn’t tease nearly enough to create any kind of drama. Morrison went for the Starship Pain and Miz pushed his feet out from under him. For some reason, falling off the top rope was enough to beat Morrison. Odd finish.

Winner: The Miz

Looks like the Smackdown girls are winning to settle the score.

2. Smackdown Divas vs. Raw Divas

UFC 104 Post Fight Press Conference Notes

Published by GG under Mixed Martial Arts,News,UFC

- Dana says that Machida had to get stitches.

- They did 1.9 million in gate.

- Stefan Struve won submission of the night, Pat Barry and Antoni Hardonk won fight of the night, and Barry won TKO of the night.

- Dana says he thought Shogun won the fight and that the Velasquez stoppage was early.

- Dana says he thinks there will be a rematch between Shogun and Machida.

- Joe Daddy thought Shogun won as did Anthony Johnson, who didn’t think the fight was that good.

- Shogun says that his corner told him he was winning the fight so that’s why he didn’t press as much in the 5th. I have a feeling that’s not the round that he got screwed for. It was the first three.

- Cain says he wants the Lesnar/Carwin winner. I wonder how he’d do against Big Nog?

- Shogun says he wouldn’t change any strategy for a rematch with Machida.

- Machida says that he’ll look at the tapes and adapt his strategy when fighting next.

- Dana says he thinks the next fight will be much different and that both guys will press more.

- Shogun continues to say that he didn’t press because he thought he won, while Machida says the fight is over and he wants to move on.
