Though not the main event of the first Strikeforce/Showtime card, Gilbert Melendez vs. Josh Thomson might be the one fight on the entire card that the diehard MMA are clamoring for most. It’s a rematch to their contest from last year in which Thomson beat Melendez and took his lightweight title.
