Fedor Emelianenko Knocks Out Andrei Arlovski With One Punch
For most of the first round, Andrei Arlovksi was getting the better of Fedor Emelianenko. He was throwing inside leg kicks with his left leg and then following up with right hands. Fedor was being patient, waiting for Arlovski to make a mistake. Arlovski nearly made one, getting caught up against the ropes, but fought his way out of it. Then, he backed Fedor up with a kick to the body and tried to follow it up with a flying knee. Fedor might’ve been playing possum. But right as Arlovski started his jump, Fedor threw a right hand that knocked him unconscious. Arlovski went down like a tree flat on his face.

They are trying to set up Josh Barnett vs. Fedor based on the commentary from the show. When interviewing Fedor, Tito Ortiz said that “millions” were watching. Ha!
Sorry I missed the live PBP. Had a company event to attend tonight.
Just finished watching the show and overall it was pretty entertaining and was better than last weekend’s UFC show. Arlovski was dominating Fedor, but one shot was all it took to end it. The Last Emperor has done it once again. I was really hoping to see this one go a couple rounds.
No worries.
I was disappointed that Arlovski would make that mistake because I wanted to see this go for more than a round too. I actually thought he went for a jumping punch, which would’ve been nonsense, but a flying knee at that moment was nearly as dumb to me.
